Valour FC today announce the club has added former co-captain Daryl Fordyce to its coaching staff while retaining Assistant Coach & Video Analyst Jay Bhindi and Goalkeeper Coach Patrick Di Stefani to coach Philip Dos Santos’ staff.
Fordyce will serve as the club’s Assistant Coach & Coordinator of Youth Development.
Fordyce will make a quick transition from player to coach for Valour FC, after spending the last three years in the club’s colours including serving as a co-captain. Fordyce first began working towards a post-playing career in coaching as far back as the age 18, and now holds his UEFA ‘A’ License.
The 36-year-old product of Belfast, Northern Ireland played professionally for more than two decades, he suited up for 56 matches from 2020-23 with Valour and has also worn the kits of AFC Bournemouth, Glentoran, Linfield, FC Edmonton, FC Cincinnati, and Sligo Rovers. Fordyce also made 12 appearances internationally for Northern Ireland’s under-19 and under-21 squads.
