Valour FC today announced midfielder Kian Williams has suffered a partial ACL tear which will sideline him for the remainder of the 2024 Canadian Premier League (CPL) campaign.

The season-ending injury occurred earlier in the season and Williams has since undergone a successful surgery. His recovery is going well and he is expected to be ready for the beginning of the 2025 season.

Per League rules, Williams has been taken off Valour’s primary roster and placed on the inactive list with a season-ending injury. Valour will receive cap relief on any compensation owed to Williams for the remainder of the year. Williams will not be eligible to return in 2024.
