Valour FC acquire defenders Dante Campbell and Julian Dunn on loan

WINNIPEG, MB., August 10, 2020 – Valour FC today announce the team has acquired Canadian defenders Julian Dunn and Dante Campbell on loan from Toronto FC (MLS).

Dunn, 20, joins Valour FC after spending the past three seasons with Toronto FC (MLS) and Toronto FC II (USL League One).

In 2017, Dunn made his professional debut after signing with Toronto FC II, making 13 appearances and totalling 1,088 minutes played in his rookie season.

The defender signed as a homegrown player with Toronto FC in 2018, making two appearances with the MLS club that season.

Dunn has made a combined 10 appearances for the Under-23, Under-20 and Under-17 Canadian National team, including being named to Canada’s 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship roster in October, 2018.

Dunn was following the Canadian Premier League’s health and safety self-isolation protocols at home in Ontario prior to departing for The Island Games in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on August 8.

Campbell, 21, joins Valour FC after spending the last four seasons with Toronto FC II (USL League One), where he made 49 appearances with the squad.

The defender has made five appearances for the Canadian National Team, including being named to Canada’s Under-20 roster for the 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship in 2018.

Campbell has been training with the club for some time and was following the Canadian Premier League’s health and safety self-isolation protocols with his teammates prior to departing for The Island Games in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on August 8.
