Valour FC today announce the team has acquired Turks and Caicos forward Billy Forbes on loan from Detroit City FC (USL).

Forbes, 31, joins Valour FC after spending part of the 2022 season with Detroit City FC where he made six appearances, totalling 194 minutes played.

The forward has spent the past six seasons in the USL Championship, where he tallied 30 goals and 18 assists in 131 matches played during that time, spending time with San Antonio FC, Phoenix Rising, Austin Bold and Detroit City FC.

In 2014, Forbes joined the San Antonio Scorpions (NASL), where he totalled 50 appearances and ten goals over two seasons with the club.

Internationally, Forbes has made 20 appearances for the Turks and Caicos national team, totalling 10 goals and seven assists, while also serving as the team’s captain for 15 of those matches.
