WINNIPEG, MB., July 20, 2020 – Valour FC today announce that the club has signed Canadian defender Chakib Hocine.

Hocine, 28, joins Valour FC after spending the 2019 season with HFX Wanderers FC where he made six appearances with the club.

The defender spent the 2014 season with the Montreal Impact’s developmental club, Montreal Impact U23, where he made nine appearances in the Premier Development League (PDL).

In 2018, the defender signed abroad with Finnish club Ekenäs IF (Ykkönen). He helped the club finish third place in Finland’s Second Tier competition, totaling 1,573 minutes in 19 appearances.
